Getting to Coimbra from Lisbon international airport

Once you arrive at Lisbon International Airport you may choose among the following ways to get to Coimbra:

1. By train

2. By bus

3. By car

1- By train

Take a taxi from the airport to the 'Oriente' train station. The trip should take around 10 minutes, but this may vary depending on the existing traffic. Below you can find indicative fares.
 

  You may also use the Taxi-Voucher service, available from a desk on the way out from the international arrivals.

Trains to Coimbra are frequent and the trip takes about 2h10m. Please check the above link for schedules. Below you can find departure times from Lisboa (Oriente) for the most direct trains: 7.04, 8.04, 8.11, 9.04, 10.04, 11.04, 12.04, 13.04, 14.04, 15.04, 16.04, 17.04, 18.04, 19.04, 19.11, 20.04, 21.04.

In case you find more convenient to use Lisboa (Sta. Apolónia) station trains depart at: 7.55, 8.02, 8.55, 9.55, 10.55, 11.55, 12.55, 13.55, 14.55 15.55, 16.55, 17.55, 18.55, 19.02, 19.55, 20.55.

There are connections from Coimbra-B to Coimbra downtown station, but it is more convenient to take a taxi to your hotel directly from the former.
