PROGRAMME STRUCTURE 

The Scientific Programme of CRYOBIOMOL will consist of four days and will integrate:

-Plenary Lectures       (45 min long + 15 min for discussion)
-Thematic Symposia   (with Short Oral Contributions: 10+5 min long)
-Posters                     (Wednesday 17th September - Afternoon session)
-Exhibition

The working language of the congress is English

 MAIN TOPICS 

-CRYOBIOMOL is a general cryobiology meeting. However, some selected topics will be focused in greater detail by the invited lecturers:

      -Life in extreme low temperature conditions
      -Low temperature Physics and Chemistry of biological molecules 
      -Cryoprotective solutions and  vitrification
      -Freezing, drying and dielectric heating
      -Cryosurgery
      -Cryopreservation of reproductive cells (sperm, oocytes) and embryos
      -Organs and tissues cryopreservation
      -Ethical aspects of Cryobiology
